What is this book about?
Bring Up the Bodies is the middle volume of Hilary Mantel’s trilogy about Thomas Cromwell, Henry VIII’s influential minister. It follows Wolf Hall and precedes The Mirror & the Light. The trilogy’s historical setting places Cromwell at the centre of the Tudor court. Bring Up the Bodies won both the Booker Prize and Costa Book of the Year for 2012.
