What is this book about?
Rainbows End is set in San Diego in 2025. Advances in medicine are slowly bringing Robert Gu back from Alzheimer’s disease. Once a world-famous poet with a notoriously mean streak, and always a technophobe, he must adapt to a world where almost every object is networked and augmented reality is part of daily life.
He also has to learn how to rebuild his relationships with his estranged family. Meanwhile he and his granddaughter Miri are drawn into a plot involving a treacherous intelligence officer and a new mind-control technology.
