All My Rage

All My Rage is a young adult novel set in the Mojave Desert of California. It is told from three points of view: Noor and Sal in the present, and Sal’s mother, Misbah, in the past. Noor and Sal are former friends growing up in a small desert town.

Noor wants to go to college, but her guardian will not allow it; Sal wants to save his parents’ motel, which is deep in debt. A tragedy rekindles their friendship, but Sal’s choices and Noor’s secrets threaten it. Misbah’s chapters tell what brought her to America.
