Half-light: Collected Poems 1965–2016

Half-light gathers the whole of Frank Bidart’s poetry: all of his earlier collections, from Golden State (1973) to Metaphysical Dog (2013), together with a new volume, Thirst. The Pulitzer judges described it as a book that mixes long dramatic poems with short elliptical lyrics, building on classical mythology and reinventing forms of desire that defy societal norms.
