L'età fragile [it]

Lucia is a middle-aged woman living in a mountain village on the Maiella massif in Abruzzo. Her marriage has been in difficulty for some time, and her only daughter, Amanda, has moved to Milan for university. When the Covid-19 pandemic begins, Amanda is forced to come home.

Lucia sees at once that she has changed: she is sad, silent and unresponsive, and soon decides to take a break from her studies. Lucia begins to suspect that the cause is a robbery Amanda suffered shortly after arriving in Milan. The novel is loosely inspired by a real crime.
