What is this book about?
Seeker is set about ten thousand years in the future, when humanity has spread across countless worlds. Alex Benedict, a dealer in antiquities, and his partner, Chase Kolpath, search abandoned bases and derelict spacecraft for valuable objects. A woman asks Alex to value a cup marked with archaic symbols.
It proves to be a 9,000-year-old relic of the Seeker, one of the first faster-than-light ships, which carried colonists fleeing an oppressive Earth to found a free world whose location they kept secret. Alex and Chase set out to retrace its route. It is the third Alex Benedict novel.
