What is this book about?
Olive Kitteridge is made up of thirteen stories set in Crosby, a fictional coastal town in Maine. The stories are interrelated but do not form a continuous narrative. Olive Kitteridge is a main character in some and has a smaller or cameo role in others. Six of the stories had appeared in periodicals between 1992 and 2007 before the book was published in 2008.
