De qué trata

ab Sango is a story told in fifteen fragments. Its protagonist lost one parent in early childhood and has recently lost the other. A dream about a moment in childhood, when there was a choice between two primary schools, sets off a train of recollection.

The work is written in horizontal lines and was the first horizontally written story to win the Akutagawa Prize. Natsuko Kuroda was seventy-five when it won.
