Spring Garden

Taro lives in a block of flats whose rooms are named after the animals of the Chinese zodiac. He notices an unfamiliar woman in the building: Nishi, a manga artist. Since her school days Nishi has been fascinated by a book of photographs called Spring Garden, taken in a sky-blue Western-style house, and she has moved in next door to that house in order to be near it. She befriends the family who now live there and draws Taro into her scheme to see the one room she most wants to see: the bathroom with its yellow-green tiles.
